We decided to form Purrrfect Pet Products Inc. to produce the Kitty Sajer Mitt and Doggy Sajer Mitt after realizing this product was needed not only for special needs pets, but all pets, and wasn’t available for pet owners.
I am a professional writer, copy editor, and co-author with my husband, of Whose Reality Mine or Yours. Stan is a master machinist and a master hypnotist. Both Stan and I hold certificates in medical hypnotherapy and Reiki Healing. We have discovered that our knowledge in these healing modalities apply to both humans and animals. We are members of The Humane Society and ASPCA.

About Us: Growing up on a farm in southeastern Missouri, some of my earliest memories are of connecting with the animals. Loving an animal truly does awaken one’s soul to their gifts and their lessons. I am the proud companion of Ginger, the rescued Tortoise Cat, and my husband, Stan Sloan, is soul-connected to BT (Bent Tail), his Italian Greyhound. We share our desert home with our pets and many other creatures in Maricopa, Arizona.
Ginger had been abandoned on the street for several months. Some malicious person with a BB gun had shot her in the hip. Evidently, the previous owners deserted her when they moved out-of-state. During the adoption process, the veterinarian showed me the x-ray of Ginger’s hip where the BB lay close to her spine…and the advice was to not remove it. Despite Ginger’s previous cruel experience, she intuitively knew she was now in a safe home and she adapted quickly. However, spinal damage caused her to drag her left leg when walking.
A morning ritual of mine was running a small massage-vibrator on my neck while I drank my coffee and read the paper. One morning Ginger jumped on my lap and stared at me. After studying her for a moment, I said, “What? Do you want to be massaged?” I gently ran the vibrator over her body, being especially careful around her sensitive spine. She loved it. Thereafter, each morning when I poured my coffee, she would meet me at the magic chair for her massage. Three months later, during the night, I heard Ginger enter my bedroom and the sound of her dragging-foot across the carpet was different…less resistant. Wow! Maybe the massages were helping? The big thrill came when she began to run.

Ginger Story When I arrived at Friends for Life to adopt a cat, Ginger lay in a cage alone, brooding her past. Several months prior, I had been given the name “Ginger” in a dream; the dream that guided me to get a cat for companionship. The moment I saw the ginger-brown Tortoise Cat with gold-colored eyes, I knew this was to be my Ginger.
